Screenings are offered within a child's school environment. The screening consists of assessing a child’s articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills.
A speech and language evaluation will clearly identify areas of strength and weakness, as well as, provide the child’s skill level and age-based competency.
Our therapy sessions are guided by individualized treatment plans. The clinician will work with your child to address his or her identified speech and language goals in a fun and engaging way.
Open communication with families is very important, and something that we take seriously. Therefore, on-going consultations via telephone, email, and/or text are offered continuously as needed throughout your time with I.P.L.C.
Our speech-language pathologists are available to clients as needed. We provide direct cell phone access, short wait times, and extended time with therapist if needed to answer all questions. At I.P.L.C. we are committed to taking the stress out of the intervention process for clients and their families. We provide the one on one time needed to help explain, develop, and implement a plan of intervention that is right for you and your family.
Trained educational shadows are provided to assist children in their school environment. Shadows assist children with learning in the classroom as well as socializing with peers, reducing inappropriate behaviors, staying on task, attending, follow classroom routines, task completion and more.
Curriculum Based Therapy is an individual treatment that combines tutoring, remediation of cognitive and/or academic skill difficulties, and speech-language therapy into one process.
Our Behavior Intervention was created to target skills in language, play and socialization while decreasing behaviors that interfere with overall progress.

This consult will consist of a screening, followed by a meeting with the family to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and referrals to proper professionals if speech is not what is needed.
