Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Client Sessions: Collaborate with SLPs to support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring they engage effectively in treatment activities.
- Prepare Materials: Organize and prepare therapy materials, tools, and resources for use in client sessions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including session notes and progress reports, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Client Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to clients with exercises and activities as directed by SLPs, helping them achieve their speech and language goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SLPs to communicate progress and changes in client conditions, as well as coordinate with other team members for optimal client care.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
- SLPA licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
- Strong communication skills and empathy for clients' needs.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Client Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to clients with exercises and activities as directed by OTs, helping them achieve their occupational therapy goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with OTs to communicate progress and changes in client conditions, as well as coordinate with other team members for optimal client care.
Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
- State licensure as required.
